Accommodation during Fallas is one of the most important things to plan early. Valencia receives over 2 million visitors during the festival, and hotels fill up months in advance — especially for the final week (March 15–19). Prices typically double or triple compared to normal rates.

Best Neighborhoods

Ciutat Vella (Old Town): The heart of the action. Walking distance to Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Mascletà), Plaza de la Virgen (Ofrenda), and many Sección Especial fallas. Most expensive but most convenient.
Ruzafa: Valencia's trendiest neighborhood with excellent restaurants, bars, and its own impressive fallas. A 15-minute walk to the center. Great atmosphere day and night.
Eixample: The elegant expansion district surrounding the old town. Good hotel options and easy walking distance to everything.
El Carmen: Bohemian quarter within the old town. Narrow streets, artistic vibe, and some of the best fallas. Can be noisy at night.
Benimaclet: University district, more local feel, budget-friendly. 20 minutes by metro to center.
